July 28, 2008 Quebec City, QB Today we arrived in Quebec City. Marty and Barb are staying here with their friend Natalie, and Mario, Ray and I are staying in the Sir Wilfred Hotel, not far from downtown. We left Vaudreuil-Dorion with our friend Serge and about 8 of his Velo Sans Limits cycle club. It was so much fun cycling with them, and enjoying time together! They showed us how to get to Bethierville (132 km) passing Montreal on safe and beautiful cycle routes all the way. We cycled 117 km to Ste-Anne-de-la-Perade yesterday and an other 90 km to Quebec City today. Today we cycled for the first time in pouring rain...it wasn`t actually so bad, not too cold, anyway. Serge travelled with us to Quebec City and then cycled on, showing us beautiful and safe cycle routes. Quebec is just lovely! It is so beautiful and people are very helpful here, even as we struggle with the language, and between their English and our French (and some sign language) we manage to communicate.
