July 19, 2008 North Bay, ON 4500 km so far. 56th day. After our rest day in Sault Ste Marie travelled to Ironbridge and stayed at our favourite camp site so far on Clear Lake with comfy wooden lawn chairs, green grass, shelter, spectacular sunset, NO BUGS! Then to Massey campground where Marty, Barb and Mario went swimming by beautiful falls. Met Erica and Marianne, a couple of University grads who are cycling Canada as well, and Sky, who is cycling for the Make A Wish Foundation. Then to Sudbury and stayed with Ryan our cycling buddy and his wife Melissa, and kids Luke and Abby. They gave us a wonderful spaghetti supper and accomodations. Left Sudbury in the pouring rain (22 degrees and wet). Met Serge again in Sturgeon Falls, the next place enroute. So neat to have such comraderie with all of the cyclists we meet! Gotta run...spent the day getting bike repairs, need to catch up with Barb, Marty and Mario in Samuel Champlain Provincial Park in Mattawa, and now the library is closing and has no USB ports for uploading pictures. Bye for now.
