August 12, 2008. Halifax Airport Motel. We're finished! No more cycling!! We did a total of 6,673 km. From Debert we cycled 128 km to Bedford (Halifax) where Mario had beer and wine waiting for the rest of us at our motel. For our final celebration, Barb, Marty, Mario, Ray and I had seafood dinner and drinks on the Halifax harbour last night. This morning we hugged Mario goodbye, as he's continuing on to Prince Edward Island and Newfoundland. The four of us cycled back 27 km to the airport. Louie and Ronnie, Barb and Marty's friends from Truro, are bringing four bike boxes to our hotel later today. Barb and Marty are on an early flight tomorrow morning and Ray and I leave later tomorrow afternoon. All we have to do now is package up our stuff. We are all very proud of our accomplishment and how fit we are! We're looking forward to coming home, but sad that it's over. See you soon! Barb and Marty, Ray and Lydia
