May 29, 2008 Cache Creek. Did another 83 km today. Saw unbelievable Hummingbirds last night. They had feeders at the campground low to the ground, and we could sit there just inches away, putting our finger next to where they drank, so that they perched on our fingers. Unbelievable!!! Travelling with Matt from Melbourne, Australia, who's cycling from LA to Vancouver, across Canada to Halifax and back through the States to LA. WOW! Hot and sunny, smoking tailwind! Caught in a two-minute rain shower that cooled us off. Legs are getting stronger, hills not so bad anymore. Everyone in good spirits and the 5 of us are going out for a good meal tonight!
